Jim’s Deli is a comfortable cafeteria style spot on Washington Street in Brighton. And getting a great sandwich here is no frills... no fuss... no problem.
At Jim's, you grab your own silverware, step up to the counter, and tell Jim what you’d like. Whether he makes it is another story.

Don't worry, no matter what sandwich you're served… there's no doubt you're gonna love it. Whether you get that incredible Chicken Deluxe... The Fusion Wrap, stuffed with grilled chicken, crispy onion strings and melted Swiss... Or the made-from-scratch Chicken Parm, smothered with homemade sauce.

The restaurant is named Jim's, but maybe they ought to call it Mom's.
Not only is Jim's mother is a fixture at the register ringing up orders, and chatting up customers. She also arrives at four in the morning, six days a week, to cook up comfort food favorites like Roast Chicken and baked Mac and Cheese.
Vaso Tziavas - Jim's Mom: "Today I make Spinach Pie, Pork Roast, Chickens, make Chickens, Prime Rib, Macaroni and Cheese."
And on the rare occasion when Mom is gone, some devoted customers say they can taste the difference.
Vaso Tziavas - Jim's Mom: "But after I come back they say, 'hey Mama, we miss your food. Oh please come back soon, you know.'"
With Mama's Mac and Cheese... Jim's Chicken Deluxe... and no frills food at its finest... it's no wonder Jim's Deli is a Phantom Gourmet... Hidden Jewel.
