It has a legendary reputation, the freshest seafood imaginable, and... No Name?! That's right. This is the No Name Restaurant, on the Boston Fish Pier.
Since 1917, this no-frills restaurant has attracted thousands of customers from all over the world who love seafood AND a good bargain. The portions are huge, the food is great, and there’s free parking. And, since it's located right on the Fish Pier, chances are... the food on your plate was swimming just a few hours ago!
The fried seafood platter piles golden shrimp, fresh scallops, local clams, and cod, along with french fries and a scoop of cole slaw. The No Name's famous sautéed lobster comes with shrimp and scallops in a white wine butter sauce. And the boiled lobster dinner is a New England classic, sweet and ready to crack with buttery corn on the cob.
Finding a good meal at this casual family-style restaurant is as easy as pie. And by PIE... Phantom means the fresh-baked, fruit filled treasures No Name is famous for. There's strawberry rhubarb... beautiful blueberry... and luscious apple that's 100% delicious no matter how you slice it.
Joe McDonough - Melrose, MA: "When I was a student I used to come here, because I couldn't afford to go to Pier 4 or one of the fancier places, and once I had enough money to go to any of them, I still like the food here better."
That's why No Name Restaurant is in the Phantom Gourmet Hall of Fame, and a Phan-tastic Meal Deal.
