Charlie’s serves up breakfast all day from behind a long, swivel stool counter. The greasy spoon décor includes historic Boston photos, glass domes hovering over apple pie or a tall Boston cream pie, and communal tables where you might meet a long time Charlie’s loyalist. Other Phantom favorites are the French toast with cranberry syrup and fluffy blueberry pancakes. With heaping plates and cheap prices, it’s no wonder this coffee shop is such a success.
