East Coast Grill & Raw Bar is a famously fun restaurant with a wacky Sunday brunch that claims the world’s largest Bloody Mary bar. It’s a make-your-own smorgasbord including 3 tomato bases; a half dozen spices from curry to paprika; a dozen hot sauces; skewered fruit and olives; and sauces like mango-habanero. Chef/owner Chris Schlesinger puts out a bold Latin-inspired brunch that includes their signature barbequed seafood. Steak & eggs comes with pickled peppers and fried sweet potatoes, and there’s an awesome omelet with avocado, black beans, cheese, and guava. Phantom always tacks on an order of Monterey jack grits with pineapple, bacon, and plantains.
